The research we were doing is primary because we are the ones taking the pictures from our camera's. A location scout is where you take pictures of different locations that would relate to your film, and where you think you would film in your movie or even for a photo shoot. Location scout is very important as it is the process in the Pre-production stage of anything because you got to know where possible places you could film or capture.
I think this picture could maybe suit a horror film as there's no one in the picture and it looks like the college is quiet which could create tension.
I think that maybe if the lights were dimmer or off at the end of the corridor it could be a more scary scene in a horror film.
This photo could suit a horror photo shoot because its near the bins and boiler room which is very unusual and different. If it was night time it would look more like a scary scene.
This is the same photo from above, and again this could be a horror photo shoot as it is the boiler room which no one expects that place to be scary.
This picture would suit a horror film because it looks kinda dark and it and the CCTV being there makes it look more scary i think. I think with the camera there it creates a sense of mystery in the place.
This would defiantly suit a horror film because its in the middle of the trees which is like the woods. The woods is usually used in most horror films so this would be a perfect place to shoot one.
I don't think this would suit a horror theme because there's a brightly coloured wall and horror doesn't suit with that. Horror is more dark and gloomy colours, this looks more like a happy and safe environment.
This would suit both a horror film and photo shoot. This is like a alleyway which can be scary in films and create tension. An alleyway is good thing in a horror film because alleyways are usually dark and quiet and something happens in them in films.
This photo would suit for a horror photo shoot, if you had the villain on the stairs with a scary face and if you had the victim right in front of the camera that would be a good horror poster. Also if the background was darker and had a gloomy effect it would suit the horror genre more.
